"You." Poster

With everything that’s been going on, life feels heavy. I hope this post brings you some peace, even in these dark times.

 My latest print was something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile now and while I was sick with Covid, my friend @jesika.knowles.art suggested a jellyfish be my next poster. Shortly after that, my wonderful pal Shawna shared this beautiful and inspiring poem with me. I wanted to include it here for encouragement, as well as dedicate this poster to my two friends.

“Before we begin, I’d like to share a story.
Once upon a time there was a jellyfish. We’ll call it
You.
You became lost sometimes
You could be a little unsure
You tried very hard
But sometimes it didn’t feel like enough.
I hate to spoil the ending
But You is fine
You is still here
You is going to make it.”
