Block Printed Tarot Poster Pre-Order
I will be working on posters of the entire tarot deck over the course of the next year. I’m starting with the Major Arcana and the order is completely dictated by what comes up in my own life experiences. 😉 Six of my hand-printed Major Arcana tarot posters are available for pre-order now. I have already printed The Chariot tarot card poster, which gives a great representation of how the following posters will look when printed.Â
All tarot posters are hand carved and printed using the reduction printmaking method. Reduction printmaking involves carving each color layer of the poster from the same block, leaving only the final, typically black, layer. This method is also known as “suicide printing” because you only have one shot at getting it right.Â
All of my Major Arcana tarot posters will be printed in editions of 20, every print completely unique. Due to the printmaking method, I can’t reprint again, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!Â
